This policy explains what information The Poke Trap (RJK Creative Ventures LLC, doing business as The Poke Trap) collects through thepoketrap.com, how we use it, and your choices.
What we collect
- Information you give us when you make an offer, request to buy, or email us: your name, email address, phone number (optional), your offer amount and any note.
- Payment and shipping details when you pay by card. These are entered on Stripe's secure checkout. Stripe sends us your name, email, phone, shipping address and the last digits and type of your card. We never see or store your full card number.
- Wire payments: the details your bank includes with the transfer.
- Technical information: your IP address, used only to block spam and abuse of our forms, and standard server logs kept by our hosting provider.
How we use it
- To answer offers and purchase requests, and to send you payment links.
- To process payments, ship your order, and send tracking.
- To prevent fraud and respond to payment disputes.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your information, and we don't send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
Only with the services needed to run the shop, each under its own privacy and security commitments:
- Stripe, to process card payments, fight fraud and calculate sales tax.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and its database and sends our email notifications.
- Google, which provides our business email and the fonts used on this site (your browser contacts Google to load them).
- Shipping carriers, which receive your name and shipping address to deliver your order.
- Authorities, if required by law.
Cookies
This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie is a login cookie used by the shop owner's private dashboard.
How we protect it
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe, which is certified to the highest payment-industry security standard (PCI DSS Level 1). Access to order information is limited to the business owner and protected by a password.
How long we keep it
We keep records of offers and orders as long as needed to complete your purchase, handle any claim or dispute, and meet tax and accounting rules (generally up to seven years for completed sales).
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, except where we must keep it by law. Email poketrapperz305@thepoketrap.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
Our shop is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
