Terms of Sale

These terms apply to every purchase from The Poke Trap (RJK Creative Ventures LLC, doing business as The Poke Trap) through thepoketrap.com, by email, by phone or in person. By making an offer, requesting to buy, or paying, you agree to them.

1. The cards

• Every card is graded by PSA and sold in its original PSA slab. The grade, certificate number and photos on each listing describe the exact card you will receive.
• Population figures and descriptions are provided for information and may change as PSA grades more cards.
• We are not affiliated with PSA, Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures or GAME FREAK.

2. Prices, offers and purchases

• Prices are in US dollars and may change at any time until your purchase is approved.
• Tapping Buy sends a purchase request and places the card on hold. A sale is confirmed only when we approve it and send you a payment link. We may decline any request or offer, including if a card has sold or a price was listed in error.
• Offers are not binding on us until we accept them by email. Accepted and countered offers are valid for 24 hours unless we say otherwise; after that the card may be released.

3. Payment

• Wire transfer: no fee. Always call or text us to confirm our wire details before sending; we will never change wire details by email.
• Credit or debit card: available for purchases up to $10,000, processed securely by Stripe. A 3% surcharge applies to credit cards only and is not greater than our cost of card acceptance; if you pay with a debit or prepaid card the surcharge is refunded automatically.
• Cash: in person in Miami by appointment.
• Florida sales tax is charged where required by law.
• Payment is due within 24 hours of approval unless agreed otherwise. Cards are held, not reserved indefinitely.

4. Shipping

• Nothing ships until payment has fully cleared.
• Every order ships fully insured, with tracking, from Miami, Florida. Orders of higher value require a signature on delivery.
• You'll receive tracking by email once your card ships. Please make sure your shipping address is correct; we can't redirect a package after it ships.

5. All sales final

All sales are final. Our limited exceptions (wrong item, or lost or damaged in shipping) are explained in our Returns & All Sales Final policy, which is part of these terms.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not responsible for changes in market value or for re-grade results.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
